1. Complete Interest Form

Please complete the “Join An Outpost” interest form. This helps us collect preliminary information, evaluate your unique situation, and begin exploring a local community for you.

2. Interest Meeting

Upon initial review, we will send you an email with a link to sign up for an interest meeting (video call). This interest meeting will be a time to learn more about the GAO program and ask any questions you may have. We understand that finding the right program for your family is a big decision. We’re available for a follow-up call to answer additional questions once you’ve had time to process.

3. Local Interview

Once we’ve connected you with a local director, they will conduct a family interview. This is a time to answer questions directly related to the local GAO community and for the director to make sure their particular community is a good fit for your family (some communities may be full).

4. Apply Online

Once you’ve decided that GAO is the right program for your family and you’ve been interviewed by a local director, they will send you a link to the official application (application fee applies).
